COVID-19 Mask, Vaccination and Testing Policy for Group Programs

 

Masks

  • Indoors, masks are encouraged for participants, volunteers and leaders aged 12 years +, unless unable to due to disability/ medical reasons, or if exercising. Volunteers and leaders may be required to wear masks in certain situations.
  • Outdoors, masks are not required.

Vaccinations

  • Volunteers and leaders aged 16+ need to be double-vaccinated and must provide proof of double-vaccination or a certificate of medical exemption.
  • Participants and volunteers aged 5+ are encouraged to be vaccinated per NSW Health.

International vaccine certificates are accepted provided they meet the requirements outlined on the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website: click here

Testing

When attending a program that includes an overnight stay, all participants, volunteers and leaders are required to take a Rapid Antigen Test before attending the first day of the program. If positive, they must let the program coordinator know as soon as possible, as well as report their positive test result to NSW Health.
