Day Camp, 19-23 January 2026

We are excited to host a 5-day Day Camp during the upcoming school holidays and look forward to seeing you there! Please read all the details below before registering for Camp.

Camp Details:

Volunteer Requirements and Commitment:

• Teen volunteers need to be aged between 12 and 18 AND in Years 7 to 12.
• To provide consistency, volunteers are required to come to a minimum of 3 days of Camp. 
• We will go swimming on Thursday. Volunteers are expected to be in the water with their buddies.
• Wait list requests for days that have been filled should be sent to daycamp@sydneyfc.org.au.

Location and Transport:

• We will be based at Emanuel School in Randwick. During the week, we will be enjoying a mix of incursions and excursions.
• Volunteers are required to arrive at Emanuel School at 8:30am sharp. For volunteers, Camp will conclude at 3:45pm Monday to Thursday, and 3:15pm on Friday.
• In the afternoon, volunteers may not leave until their buddy has been picked up.

Mandatory Orientation:

• All volunteers must attend our mandatory orientation on Sunday, 18 January 2026, 10:30am - 11:30am at the Friendship Circle Hub in Bondi Junction. More details will be shared closer to the date.
• If you have essential pre-existing commitments and are unable to attend Orientation, please email your circumstances to daycamp@sydneyfc.org.au for consideration within one day of registering.

Catering:

• Day Camp is fully catered, with kosher snacks and lunch provided. Please select your lunch preferences as you register.
• Please note any dietary requirements on the registration form.

Photos at Friendship Circle Programs:

We love capturing special moments at our programs, and these photos may be used for our newsletter, social media, and other publications. This allows us to share the Friendship Circle experience with families, as well as donors who support our programs. We understand that some families have previously advised they do not wish their children to appear in photos. In our experience, volunteers aren't necessarily aware of their photo permissions, and it isn't always possible to edit images afterwards.

Going forward, permitting the use of your child's photos will be a condition of participation in our programs. Please know that we choose the images mindfully and usually post group photos. We will seek permission if the photo highlights an individual person. Registration Notes:

Please ensure that you enter your email address correctly, click 'Complete Registration' on the Event Registration Summary Page, and check that you have received a registration confirmation email.

Otherwise we won't have a record of your registration and you won't be registered for the program. We may not be able to accommodate you if spaces have been filled.
